Game Description

1942 is a vertical scrolling shooter for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). You are a pilot in the Pacific theater during the Second World War. Fly the aircraft “Super Ace” in the hopes of reaching Tokyo and destroying the Japanese air fleet. Be warned: your enemies will be gunning for you! Complete loops to avoid enemy fire, and pick up power ups to become even stronger in this classic developed by Capcom, the company that went on to develop such classics as Street Fighter, Mega Man, and Resident Evil.
