Game Description
ActRaiser is an absolute classic! The gameplay is a combination of side-scrolling platforming and action, and civilization simulation. One of the earliest titles for the Super Nintendo (SNES), you play as a god-like being known as “The Master.” You are engaged in an epic fight against Tanzra, “The Evil One.” After being defeated by Tanzra, “The Master” has lost his powers, because the people have lost faith in him. In the side-scrolling part of the game, “The Master” uses what little power he has left to take control of an ancient state built in his honor to slay the servants of Tanzra and liberate the masses. An area is liberated when “The Master” defeats on of Tanzra’s lieutenant. Once the lieutenant is defeated, the simulation aspect begins. You play as an angel in an attempt to repopulate cities, fight of attacking monsters, and perform miracles. It is essential that you help the civilizations you liberate, as their faith in “The Master” will return if they prosper. Fans of the SNES can’t afford to miss out on this game!
